Scholarships
ASOM offers a limited number of partial scholarships each semester as funds are available. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship, please email Marti Jones at mjones@awakeningsom.com to begin the application process.

Additional Scholarship options:
Your Local Church:
Some local churches will help licensed individuals with financial assistance in pursuing their pastoral training.

Your Local District:
Another scholarship option is to reach out to your District Ministerial Boards of Education.  They may provide students with scholarship assistance as well.

When are Courses Offered?
Courses are offered on a quarterly semester system. Rotating courses allow students who take two courses a quarter to meet all prerequisites and to complete the course of study in 3 years. Courses are offered weeknights or weekends for the benefit of working students.

Who Teaches the Courses?
Our professors are master’s level educated instructors who are a part of The Awakening: A National Prayer Conference in the Church of the Nazarene.  These individuals are committed to seeing a revival awaken the global church.  They have a passion for training students not only in educational facts, but also leading them to encounter the presence and power of God in the classroom and beyond.

Special Courses
We offer special courses throughout the year.  These are not a requirement for ordination in the Church of the Nazarene, but students are encouraged to attend.  These vary in frequency and in cost.  Special courses, along with the cost, will be listed on the registration page when they are offered.
